KRAKOW Members Launch Old-School Black Metal Project
June 4, 2010Members of the Norwegian stoner metal band KRAKOW has recently joined forces with Kraft (guitar and vocals) and Blix (vocals) in the Bergen-based black metal group VIÐR. The new project, which is rounded out by Eld (bass and vocals) and Tulkas (drums),will enter the studio in August.
According to a press release, VIÐR is "an old-school black metal band and their live performance will show just that.
"The [group's] name comes from old Norse and means forest. Music and lyrics [are inspired by] different experiences/views in life, nature, folklore and so on..."
